Meet out team.  Our instructors have a passion to help others.  All our instructors are current Board Certified Instructors with the Tai Chi for Health Institute www.tchi.org

Becky Rahe

 

Becky Rahe is an accomplished Master Trainer in Dr. Paul Lam’s Tai Chi Programs. Becky began learning Tai Chi in 2004.  She teaches Chen, Sun and Yang Styles. She has attend Master Courses with Dr Paul Lam and spent a week working with Ian Ectel on the Combined 42 Forms.She enjoys teaching Taiji Fan and looks forward practicing Taiji Cane.  Her teachers have been Dr. Paul Lam, Dan Jones, Janet Cromb, Ian Ectel,, and Daniel Baranowski, Jef Morris, Bill Pickett, Hong Yang and Troyce Thome. Becky just completed her Instructor training with 24 Postures Therapeutic QiGong with The Village of Healing and Wellness.

Dianne Jagielski

Dianne Jagielski is a Senior Trainer with the Tai Chi for Health Institute.

Dianne’s background is in dance.  She started teaching at the age of 13 and opened her own studio at the age of 21. Then she discovered Tai Chi.

Dianne started taking tai chi classes at one of the local YMCA’s in 2012. In June she attended her first Tai Chi for Arthritis class and she instantly became captivated and thus began her tai chi journey. This new journey would bring her new friends and great satisfaction. Dianne has been teaching since 2015.  She enjoys the Tai Chi For Health Programs, but also teaches Sun, Yang, and Chen Styles. 

Dianne also teaches our Line Dance Classes.

Dianne will also be teaching Skills Sessions.

Linda Benner

 

Linda is a new instructor to our team.  She is a joy to have at our classes and trainings. She is helping during our class when needed. She also helps during our instructor trainings. She is a Board Certified Instructor with the Tai Chi for Health Institute.  Linda is currently developing her own classes and is a great asset to our team.

Linda has a big heart and a desire to help others.

 

Meet Adriene from Alabama.  Adriene is a tai chi and qigong instructor.  She has studied with Ken Cohen, Roger Jahnke, Dr Paul Lam, Bill Pickett, and Becky Rahe.

Adriene Douglas is a nationally Licensed Massage Therapist with 10 years of experience helping clients through her unique and subtle approach to neuromuscular and myofascial bodywork.  She has an Bachelor's Degree in Applied Science in Therapeutic Massage and has studied holistic approaches to wellness globally. She offers a variety of therapies including Neuromuscular, Soul Lightening Acupressure, Craniosacral, Swedish and Organic Therapeutic Bodywork. Organic Therapeutic Bodywork™ (OTB) is a customized combination of modalities designed by Adriene using therapeutic techniques combined with intuition and a holistic understanding of the body. Using this approach, Adriene is able to design sessions to meet the needs of each individual client.  Over the years, clients have reported improvement with issues involving chronic and acute pain, especially in lower back and pelvis/hip, including sciatica, fibromyalgia sufferers, improved posture from effects of scoliosis, TMJ disorder and other health and movement issues incurred by trauma, surgery, or repetitive action.

Becky Rahe is dedicated to promoting the Tai Chi for Health programs to her community and across the United States and Canada.  Becky is a Master Trainer for the Tai Chi for Health Institute teaching Tai Chi for Health Instructor Trainings. As much as she enjoys teaching instructor trainings, Becky teaches CPR and First Aid and other tai chi workshops, Skill Builders, practice “play” sessions, participates in demonstrations, teaches classes at senior centers, local church fellowship halls, and corporations.  She has been an invited speaker for Paramount Elite, Local Rotary Clubs, and at International Tai Chi Symposiums. She has been an instructor at Dr Paul Lam’s Annual Tai Chi Conference.   Becky formally served on the Tai Chi for Health Community Board and is the Workshop Manager for Dr. Paul Lam’s Tai Chi Workshops in the USA.

 

Becky has been teaching Tai Chi for Arthritis since 2004.  She started learning and teaching the Sun 73 Forms in 2005 along with additional Tai Chi for Health classes in 2006.  She has been a YMCA of the USA Instructor for twelve years and an Instructor Trainer for the past ten years.  For the past thirteen years, Becky has taught CPR in her community.

 

Becky has been certified in most of the Tai Chi for Health programs, and has also trained in Chen 36, Chen 56, Sun 73, Sun 73 Depth, Combined 42 Forms as well as Qigong, Tai Chi Cane, Tai Chi Fan and Silk Reeling workshops.  Becky has also studied in other forms of energy healing such as 24 Postures Therapeutic Qigong,  Medical Qigong, Reiki, Guided Meditation, and YogaFit. 

 

Becky is a proud wife to Butch, a Toledo FireFighter, who volunteered at a workshop in Toledo for Dr. Paul Lam in 2013.  As a volunteer, he gained further respect for the dedication and work that she puts into sharing her passion for the Tai Chi for Health programs.  Now, Butch also helps Becky at the Annual Tai Chi Conference taking photos for Dr Lam. Becky has two sons, Jon and Caleb, who always encourage and support their mom’s tai chi journey. The support of her family, gives Becky the opportunity to stay on her path, helping others, and sharing tai chi and its healing benefits with her community.
